…from just taking the time out of your day and observing people.
Next time you’re somewhere crowded, stop doing what you’re doing and notice the people around you. See what they’re doing, how they move, how they speak, which ones are rude, which ones are polite, which ones seem happy and which sad.
It doesn’t have to be for a long time, maybe five or ten minutes. But you’ll gain so much out of it. You’ll gain the knowledge of how people function. What goes through their minds. The more often you do it, the better you’ll begin to analyze and understand people as a whole.
In this world, it’s not engineering, nor business, nor pre-med, nor pre-law which will determine your success. It’s how well you know people.
